You may not realise, but I am on an impressive roll this evening. This is my second review of the night, so my mojo is firing lol. I have taken advantage of a Friday night when the rest of the house (bar for the cat) have all gone out so I have some time to myself, that equates to bath, Scooby Doo and music!
And if I have a mystery to solve, that mystery is probably not Rebecca Richards. Rebecca has been in this magazine off and on over the last four years (we are probably due for a chat again at some point!) – so much has happened with her career in music and this piece today forms a catch up, just as much as a review of the new single that comes out March 6, 2026.
I am going to turn to the press release from Rebecca to let her tell the news herself!
“In October 2025, my music journey took an astonishing turn. At a gig in Bargoed, Talent is Timeless founder Saskia Griffiths-Moore surprised me with the opportunity of a lifetime: a trip to Nashville to record at the legendary Ocean Way Studios and co-write at Sony Music Publishing. My parents were in tears as I stood there, stunned. This moment was the start of something incredible—a journey that would see me perform in iconic venues, co-write with Nashville’s finest, and be followed by a film crew for a TV series. Flying to Nashville alone, stepping into the heart of country music, was a dream come true, but it also tested me—I really had to push past self-doubt and insecurities about my age. Yet, each step made me stronger. If I could hold my own in a world-class studio, what couldn’t I do? As a woman launching a career in my fifties, I’ve encountered many who’ve been inspired by my story to rediscover their own passions. Age is no barrier—it’s never too late to live your dream.”
The Talent is Timeless program will come out in the Summer of 2026.
About the Track:
“Never Too Late” is a country pop anthem celebrating pursuing dreams at any age. Recorded in just 3 hours, live in Nashville’s Ocean Way studio with a top country band (who play with Tim McGraw, Ella Langley, Blake Shelton etc.), this song was co-produced in person by multi platinum songwriter Jeff Cohen (25 million + albums sold) and Saskia Griffiths-Moore (artist & founder, Talent Is Timeless).
Rebecca Richards was flown to Nashville in November 2025 with a film crew to star in Talent Is Timeless episode 2 (due for release late summer 2026) and to record the vocals you hear on the track.

My Review:
This blows in like fresh air on a dark and cold night, a candle in the cold. The feel is commercial country radio, it shines nicely and the vocals are clearly from a vocalist having the time of her life:
“You are everything you always knew You are
So shine on, it’s now or never no regrets your time has come
You will see it’s all been worth the wait Coz it’s never too late…”
Rebecca is delivering a steady line of strong singles (“Aces Are High” is one I remember was really good, and remains my favorite from her) – and after a bit of a gap when we hadn’t heard from her this one certainly announces that she is very much still squeezing the lemon of success, only in Nashville this time! I liked it, I want to hear it on the radio over here!
So…Honestly? What a Friday night plot twist. One minute it’s bath bubbles and Scooby snacks, the next it’s Nashville, Ocean Way and a woman in her fifties casually proving that dreams don’t come with expiry dates. “Never Too Late” doesn’t just talk the talk — it struts straight out of Nashville like it owns the place. And you know what? It kind of does. Rebecca Richards has always had that spark, but this feels like someone who’s stopped asking permission and just stepped into the spotlight. If this is what squeezing the lemon of success sounds like, then pour me a glass. Go stream it when it drops on March 6, 2026 — and while you’re at it, tell us: what dream are you dusting off this year?
