Welcome back to the magazine to Las Vegas based rockers The Word66. Founded in 2018 by veteran guitarist Steve Scott, who eventually recruited Lance Crane and newest member Carlos Zemma, with special guest bassist Danny Miranda, the band is inspired by artists including Black Sabbath, Shinedown, Creed, Disciple, and Thousand Foot Krutch, to name a few. In one review (not by us), they were called “Gospel-spreading Las Vegans set off on a journey to glory.”

When we spoke to the guys in 2025 we concluded that, The Word66 showcases a range that spans from thunderous rock anthems to soaring ballads, all wrapped in a bold message of faith and purpose. Whether you’re drawn in by the gritty riffs of “37 Miracles,” the swagger of “On the Way to Promised Land,” the heartfelt soul of “How Will I Know,” or the anthemic power of “The Chosen One,” this band doesn’t preach—they rock the gospel.

With this song, the band tells us: It’s a rocker about a person dreaming that the end of the world is coming, trying to warn everyone and no one believes him until it becomes real and everyone is running for their lives hoping to be saved.

Our last track, “I’ll Be There”, reached # 27 on the SMR Chart alongside The Foo Fighters, Alter Bridge, Evanescence, Daughtry, and Shinedown to mention a few.

We are blessed to mention that all of our previous tracks have reached #1 somewhere in the world, and we are proud to release the latest from the upcoming CD “37 Miracles.”

My review:

The single is released on April 24, 2026

Storming drums and a heavy riff drive this track from the outset. The song carries a distinct nineties hard rock feel, packed with gritty attitude, no-nonsense delivery, and a chorus that remains both catchy and crunchy. There’s a dark tenebrous edge to a track that warns us to run for our lives, and like other songs from The Word66, it feels built for the live arena and festival stage. With power, urgency, and a thunderous sense of purpose, The Word66 proves once again that message-driven rock can still hit hard.
