I had a chat with Georgia (was it last year? How time flies!) when she released “Bit on the Side.” Since then she has been one busy bee, and when the press flier got passed over to me I can see she has only got busier! We have a new single that was released on September 26 on all platforms called “Pink Cadillac” and there is an extensive tour happening as well.

I’m unsure where to begin, but the press release on the tour news appears to be a decent place:

“Rising country-rock artist Georgia Nevada is hitting the road with a full band for her first-ever headline tour this spring. The BackFire Tour will bring Georgia’s unique blend of Americana, Country, Blues, and Rock ‘n’ Roll to intimate venues across the UK, kicking off on 27th of March in her hometown of Cambridge and wrapping up on the 11th of April in Bath.

Following the success of her recent releases and growing reputation as a powerful live performer, Georgia is ready to share her songs with fans in a headline tour setting for the first time.

“I can’t express just how excited I am to be heading out on the road for my first ever headline tour! We’re going to put ALL our energy into creating a night of great music and some incredible special guests at every show.”

BACKFIRE TOUR DATES
• 27 MAR – Cambridge, UK – The Six Six
• 28 MAR – London, UK – The Fiddlers Elbow
• 10 APR – Manchester, UK – Gullivers
• 11 APR – Bath, UK – The Vaults

Tickets are on sale from 26/9/25 at www.georgianevada.com/tour

Right now, Georgia is on tour with When Rivers Meet, those great Blues Rock duo who we have also featured here at the magazine a few times. Georgia is a special guest on the Tree of Life Tour that runs from September 26 to November 28, and stretches the nation from venues as far afield as Exeter and Carlisle (the Old Firestation in Carlisle is a great venue to attend btw!).

Full Tour information for that tour is at this link..

As to the new single, ‘I’m a huge daydreamer – when life gets tricky, I daydream! This song is me inviting you into those moments of escapism’ says Georgia.

So now, let’s get to the music:

My review:

Having reviewed Georgia before, my expectation level is a high bar! I anticipated great country dance, with rocking vocals, I was not disappointed. Georgia tells a tale for those dusty highways, the devil and a guitar in tow! I’m sure this one will kick the hell out of the live stage soon and it is the newest installment of Georgia Nevada’s upcoming debut album, “BackFire.”

Georgia Nevada sets out to drive the road in a Pink Cadillac and a tour that promises to set every stage alight. With grit, heart, and a voice built for highways and heartstrings, she proves once again that country-rock is alive and kicking. Georgia turns her songs into road trips you never want to end.

And we hope you liked the feature, dear reader! If you did, please check out the other pages of the magazine; we have many great features, merchandise, editorials, and even poetry!
