Chandler Marie is an artist we covered and interviewed in 2025, and we said at the time that she was one to watch in the country scene. I think I can say we are being proved right, as she is certainly gaining attention Stateside and building up some interest from our side of the pond too! When we spoke to her, she indicated, “I am thrilled to say that I have many more songs to share in 2026 and am working toward a full-length debut album.” And here we have a summer release right on cue!

Rising Nashville artist Chandler Marie is set to drop her new single “Embers” on Friday, August 14, building on the momentum of last month’s release “Supposed to Be Easy” along with her recent Bluebird Cafe debut. The new track turns late-night attraction into a modern country anthem, capturing that familiar space between chemistry and consequence. While the hook and energy make it instantly fun, the story underneath is honest and relatable – two people drawn to a spark they know may burn out, but can’t seem to resist.
Blending modern country energy with pop and Americana influence, “Embers” showcases the confident sound Chandler has been developing while staying grounded in honest storytelling. Built to be turned up loud and lived in, the track features lyrics like, “We burn out so fast, but I can’t let us go // We both know that we shouldn’t but you’re back in my bed // 100 proof so we don’t remember//Setting fire to the sheets like embers.” The modern country track with crossover instincts sits comfortably alongside artists like Kelsea Ballerini, Carly Pearce, Lainey Wilson, and Miranda Lambert.
Speaking about the song, Chandler says:
“This song really shows my appreciation for all kinds of music. It blends different genres in a way that feels natural to me, pulling a little something from each style that has inspired me along the way. It is the kind of song you can turn up loud and jam out to.”

This new track from Chandler is one of those breezy, sexy summer festival tracks that will keep her growing audience very happy. It is quite an uplifting track, about enjoying the morning – but the nighttime more (perhaps!) – and Chandler is having fun setting fire to sheets, singing with a confidence that comes with increasing attention from a growing crowd.
If I was shooting pool, having a drink back in the day with friends, then I would happily pop this on the old jukebox – raise a glass, pop on the boots and have a listen!
