How time flies; it seems like only yesterday that we were chatting to Kirstie Kraus and she was over the water here in the UK, but it was a while ago, it seems!
She is a busy bee as ever and has joined forces with Mike Nash for this new single, so here is the press on the single first and then on to my review. Release day is March 21 on all platforms.

Rockin’ country music will always be here to stay. this track takes influences from Sugarland, Thompson Square and Bon Jovi while telling a sweet tale of puppy love growing into a beautiful marriage where they choose to live life to the fullest. The upbeat, vocal-driven anthem with thick, rockin’ guitars dips into two genres: country rock and trop rock. This release will continue to push the country genre bending further with US artists Kirstie Kraus and Mike Nash, who have joined forces on their brilliant new single “Largo.” There’s always a bit of magic that happens when two distinct voices come together on a release and “Largo” is no different. Kirstie Kraus and Mike Nash are both strong, independent artists and together they are a force to be reckoned with on stage when singing this song. They’ve created a striking collaboration that has all the potential to make a splash on Country Radio.
Speaking about the release, Kirstie Kraus says:
“Mike has always been someone that took me under his wing. He tells me things like they are and shoots me straight. I always say when someone like Mike asks you to write and put out a song, you say YES!”
“It is super fun to have an upbeat story song come out that is not about my personal story but it is a story everyone can picture themself in and feel that kind of love they have in their lives.”

Mike Nash adds:
“The day we wrote it, I knew it was a hit. The way it came together in the writing room was pretty quick and the production made it take on another dimension.”
My review: This is an American summer song; it’s cruising down an open highway with the wind in your hair and celebrating those dreams that you still have to aim for. The years go by but with the one you love next to you, the sun is always shining. This is exactly a song I would want on the radio as I celebrate the first day of Spring, if you have a listen, it will have you singing along too!
In summary: There’s a nostalgia woven into the melody, a reminder that no matter how much time passes, the best moments are still waiting to be made. It’s the kind of track that makes you want to roll the windows down, turn the volume up, and just let go.
