Mojo Juju (there’s a name I remember!) We actually spoke to these guys in 2026, and one answer I’ll pick up reads as follows:
When people finish listening to your music, what do you hope they say about Mojo Juju?
Naz: “We hope people feel that the music spoke to them. That it was able to change them, inspire them, or get them through a hard time. That’s the best compliment we could receive.”
As 2026 moves along, that comment appears to be ever more pertinent, as this is an act making waves not only in their home base but internationally. Although they have delivered some great covers in their early career, Heart’s “Barracuda” notably, they are also stretching out with their own material and defining a sound that is distinctly theirs.
The Bio
Mojo Juju is a Las Vegas-based rock band led by powerhouse vocalist Lea Cappelli and electrifying guitarist Nazim Chambi. Blending modern rock with retro soul, the band is known for explosive live performances, cinematic energy and original music. With more than 10 million video views across social media in under a year, Mojo Juju is quickly building momentum as one of Las Vegas’ rising rock acts.

The Review
The single is being released on October 20, 2026.
“Just wait for a moment I can be brave
Cause I swear I’ll never complain
When it’s me against the world
We all see this life’s a mystery…”
I played the new single a couple of times, as it proved a little elusive for me to describe initially! There was something cinematic about it, an occasional pinch of very late ABBA, and a darker sense of late autumn lurking in there, too.
It was like one of those meals where you look up and say, “Is that really…? Am I tasting what I think I’m tasting?” There are unexpected flavours here, and they seem to work together in a way that keeps you listening.
“Just Wait” would make a very good late-night listen, or perhaps provide the soundtrack for a fall into Wonderland, especially during the final minute. There is a sense of atmosphere and mystery that makes the track difficult to pin down, but that is part of its appeal. The sound is layered and intriguing, while the vocal performance brings a strong emotional presence to the proceedings.
There is a difference between a song that tells you everything on the first listen and one that leaves you wondering what you’ve just experienced. “Just Wait” belongs firmly in the latter category. It has an intriguing, almost dreamlike quality, with enough twists and turns to reward repeated listening rather than simply offering up its secrets at the first opportunity.
Remember what Naz said about wanting the music to change people, inspire them or help them through a difficult time? Well, perhaps that is the point. Music doesn’t always need to explain itself; sometimes it simply needs to make you feel something. With “Just Wait”, Mojo Juju have delivered a track that invites you to stop, listen again and let the atmosphere take hold. And if you happen to find yourself somewhere down the rabbit hole by the final minute, don’t say you weren’t warned!
